My name is Stony Kalango and I am delighted to serve as the High School and Middle School pastor of Hopeton Church. I am a minister of the gospel, author of two books, and passionate about seeing many come to know God. Born and raised in Nigeria, I have had the call of God on my life at a very young age, and preached my first sermon at the age of eight. I started practical ministry by preaching with a hand megaphone on streets early in the mornings with my parents. God's hand has been on my life ever since.
In my free time, I love to listen to music, read books and watch soccer (football). I am passionate about causes like freedom for slaves of human trafficking and persecuted Christians around the world.
Jonathan and Josi Dwamena are the college ministry pastors for IMPACT College Ministry. We are passionate about guiding young adults to deepen their relationship with the Lord and to walk in the victory of His promises, while providing important prayer support and restful and joy-filled fellowship throughout the semester. We have firsthand knowledge on the difficulties and challenges college students may face from financial, emotional, academic and spiritual “giants”. That is why we believe having Holy Spirit filled small group meetings regularly is vital to the success of all the students who call IMPACT-family or Hopeton Church-home.
Madison has been leading the Worship Team at Hopeton Church since April 2017. She enjoys leading people into deeper worship and ushering them into His presence. She currently attends Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
Hey all! My name is Taylor Phillips, and I am married to my husband, Clay Phillips who also serves in numerous areas of the church. I have been the Administrative Assistant for Hopeton Church since 2015. I enjoy serving people at Hopeton Church and those who pass through, as well as getting to know them. I love reading and studying God's Word, and it is my desire to equip, empower, and disciple women as they learn to passionately pursue the heart of The Father and walk in the fullness of His Kingdom.
"My name is Kathy Churchill, and I am married to Bradley Churchill who serves in the Sound Booth at Hopeton Church. We have four children, three of whom are married, and six grandchildren. I have been involved in Hopeton Church Children's Ministry for decades! I started out as a nursery helper thirty years ago and served as the Nursery Director for several years before moving up to Children's Director, where I have served for two or three years. I count it a great privilege and responsibility to assist parents in training up a child in the way they should go."
GOAL: "It is our goal to educate the children entrusted to us with the Word of God in an engaging way so that they will become aware of and choose that deeper relationship with Christ at an early age, equipping them with the tools to become over-comers in the world we inhabit."
"My name is Sallye Davidson, and I am married to Ricky Davidson. We have two children, Chancie and Shelby. I have attended Hopeton Church since 1998 and became a member in 2004. In 2008, I started teaching Sunday school, becoming Nursery Director in 2012. In August of 2016, I stepped into a new position as teacher in the Children's Church Ministry. My favorite part about the Children's Ministry is seeing the kids grow and learn in Jesus.
