Maturity

"It is time to stop depending on other people to make you grow." Pastor Hadsell.

If this is going to be a breakthrough year, if this is going to be a year of restoration, there are some things that you are required to do.

Paul tells us that some have been given milk because they were not ready for solid food. Much of the church is still in this position. God is calling us away from milk and to solid food. He is calling us to maturity. Something is about to happen to you that is going to take you to the next level in your walk with The Lord, but it takes maturing on your part.

Parents desire their children to grow up and mature, and it's no different with God. He desires that we are able to handle the solid food, because the solid food is where much of the promises are obtained and walked in. Maturity requires discipline in many areas. It requires that you make hard choices, it requires that you do what is going to cause you to grow.

The best way to mature is to spend time in the Word of God and in prayer. We gave out scripture cards that have 42 weeks of scripture for you to read. These verses are verses that deal with growing up in the Lord. Meditate on these verses and make the decision that you are going to mature in the Lord this year. Do as He has been asking you to do.

If you do not have a scripture card and would like one, please comment below your mailing address and we would be more than happy to provide one.
